It’s a good beach for snorkeling and renting kayaks, stand up paddle boarding and other water sports and activities. It has a grassy bottom close to shore; this makes a nice environment for starfish, conch and sea turtles but may not please everyone looking for sandy-bottom only beach.  This is a nice beach for families with young children because the water is shallow and calm. There is also a children’s playset to keep the little ones entertained.
