Davis Bay Beach /Carambola Beach
Davis Bay Beach, otherwise known as Carambola Beach, easily ranks as one of the best beaches in St Croix USVI! This picturesque beach is located on the island’s north shore not too far from Villa Margarita and is home to the 5-star Renaissance Carambola Beach Resort. It provides a stunning backdrop of tropical green hills set against a long stretch of white sandy beach and Caribbean water. Because of its beauty, it is often featured on many tourism promotional materials about St. Croix. There are rolling hills, lots of palm trees, and rocky cliffs being sprayed by the ocean mist of crashing waves.
This is great for just relaxing in the sun, splashing around with a suite of water activities available, as well as brunching at the beach restaurant and bar.
It is a resort beach, so there are beach chairs and hammocks tucked among the trees for guest use. There is a scuba dive shop onsite offering scuba and snorkel rentals. The Carambola Golf Club St. Croix is nearby and open to resort guests and other guests as well. There is also tennis available for guests of the resort.

Getting There
Drive along the north shore going west until you see signs for Renaissance Carambola Beach Resort. Resort guests can drive through the gate and park below, while other visitors can park your car in the upper parking lot outside the guard gate. The public beach access is just outside the resort on the right side, a staircase leading down to the beach – ask at the guard at the gate if you need help locating it. Follow the signs at the bottom of the steps to get to the beach. Or drive past the guard gate and park in their hotel/beach parking lot.
