Loved it. Great location and has everything you need. - We really enjoyed our stay here. The beds are comfortable and you hear the ocean all night. The location is great as you’re about half way between Christiansted and Frederickstead. They have coolers, chairs, umbrellas, life jackets, snorkel gear, noodles, tote bags. Everything you would need. Will definitely be back.
April 1, 2024Pleasuable Stay - We stayed for a week and traveled extensively around the island in our rental car. The Villa was centrally located for our purposes and yet secluded. The view from our... read more deck, the soft (and hard) breezes and sound of the waves breaking—unforgettable. We actually spent a lot of time at the pool each evening, enjoying the tiki bar and winding down.
April 1, 2024Highly recommend Villa Margarita - We booked the one bedroom suite - two big rooms with a bathroom. I found the space to be perfect for two people - pretty spacious. The view... read more from both rooms and the outside balcony is amazing - right on the ocean. Amanda and Carl were welcoming, friendly and available through text for questions - plus, they live on-site, but I didn't want to bother them. You need a car - most roads are paved except the final gravel lane to Villa Margarita. It is remote and we had to use wifi when on the premises since we couldn't get a signal on our phone. I found the location to be perfect - 15 mins to Christiansted and 25 mins to Frederiksted. Grocery stores and restaurants are all 15 mins or less away. All my emails were promptly answered and everything was handled professionally.

Villa Margarita FANTASTIC! - My wife and I booked a week at Villa Margarita for our 28th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Studio villa. Carl, our host, was in contact with me even... read more before we came to St. Croix. He was sending emails and information about the possible storms coming to the island. He answered any questions I had and was a great communicator.
We arrived at bit later in the evening than planned but we were greeted by Amanda our hostess. She was most welcoming and so very nice. She showed us around the beautiful Villa. I found out they had a dog named Bentley and asked if she would introduce us. She happily brought out Bentley and we became quick friends he made being away from our dogs a little more bearable. I couldn't wait til morning to see it all in the day. The next morning did not disappoint! The view from our room and patio was A+++. Absolutley amazing. We so much enjoyed having our morning coffee and breakfast on the patio. We also met Carl our host. Carl was also fantastic and very helpful. Carl and Amanda were very accommodating yet were not checking in on us. We knew if we needed anything how to get in touch with them PERFECT.
The villa was clean and neat. The king bed was very comfortable. Towels were provided for the room and beach as were beach chairs and snorkeling gear if we wanted to take them for a day at the beach. The kitchenette had a good size fridge and freezer, single cup coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave and a hot plate. Well stocked with utensils, plates, cups , pretty much anything you needed. Were there a few very minor things that needed tending to? Yes but certainly nothing worth noting. The handle to the sliding door did break one night. I texted Carl and he fixed it the next day while we were out enjoying the island.
There was only 1 other guest staying at the villa that week and he was on the island for work so we never crossed paths. We felt as if we had the entire place to ourselves. The pool was very well maintained and clean. There was a little yellow rubber duck in the pool 24/7 so we named him Darryl .Darryl greeted us every morning and was there every night. When we would come home from a long hot day on the island we would grab a drink from the well stocked Tiki bar and cool off in the pool before bed. Darryl would keep us company.
I can't say enough about Villa Margarita. The view! The view! The view! WOW! THANK YOU CARL AND AMANDA WE LOVED IT! Please give Bentley belly rubs from us. We hope to be back.

The scenic views from the room and from the deck and from poolside are incomparable. We loved the accommodations and the on-location managers. They were super friendly and helpful. We borrowed their snorkeling equipment one morning, and snorkeled right off the (rocky) beach in front of the villa - didn't need to bring anything (although I brought a prescription mask) and showered the salt off before going back in. (Didn't use the pool.)
Another afternoon we walked along the beach to the next property, and had lunch at their little cabana/grill.
The owners are very friendly, and were QUITE helpful, making sure that our lack of planning didn't land us in a pinch. When Carl says that getting a rental car is necessary, it is! (BUT BRING A GPS!) Uber doesn't work on St. Croix, and the tourist maps leave a lot to be desired! It is right next to where Columbus landed (the only place in the USA that he did!) so isn't in town, but isn't far - but too far to walk unless you are looking for a hike.
We bought food at a grocery store, and cooked several of our meal there in the kitchen.
I'd happily go back again.
I'm remembering sitting on a deck chair on the balcony watching the trade winds push the breakers ashore, and watching an occasional pelican flying by as the evening fades.

With only 3 apartments in the Villa, it's very quiet and private, but we also enjoyed meeting the other guests at the Tiki Bar by the pool (a fully stocked open bar!! - just bring your own mixers) Caretakers Amanda & Carl were great and made sure we had everything we needed, The villa supplies everything for the beach - chairs, coolers, snorkel gear, even noodles (my fav) Our 2 weeks went by too fast - We hated to leave!!Barbara Harp2023-01-19Lovely place with a fabulous view! We stayed in the 2 bedroom at Villa Margarita, but all rooms have a fabulous view of the pool and ocean. We had coffee on the veranda every morning savoring the gentle waves of the palm trees and the ocean. coming in. There is access to the ocean right in front of the villa to go "shelling". A lounging - swimming beach is next door. The managers onsite, Amanda and Carl were wonderful and fixed the very MINOR issues that came up. It has a small kitchenette, and we were able to fix breakfast every morning with an electric skillet or 2 burner portable unit. (no stove) and a fairly large refrigerator for what ever you wanted to have on hand or leftovers from the dinner the night before. It was nicely secluded and quiet and you can get to anywhere on the island within 20 minutes. The pool was kept impeckably clean. Villa Margarita is like a home and even it is full, there will never be a huge crowd like big resorts. Very cozy with comfortable beds too.Lauren Brown2023-01-17My husband and I had a lovely time at Villa Margarita. It is exceptionally clean, incredible views, comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen, bar & beach gear, sparkling pool, access to a beautiful beach. We loved exploring the Island and then returning to our quiet, peaceful villa. The caretakers are fantastic hosts that gave good local recommendations, were available for any questions and keep the grounds immaculate. It is centrally located, but we enjoyed going to Cane Bay for local meals and felt access to the entire Island was easy. It is in a gated community and we loved the privacy & quiet.
