Cane Bay Beach
Cane Bay Beach is very popular for locals and visitors alike. Families also like it because it is a one-stop beach that has everything. There are a number of bars and restaurants either right on or next to the beach. There is great swimming and snorkeling, and it is one of the best places for St Croix scuba diving right from the beach! You can swim out and take a look at Sea Biscuit, the underwater horse that looks like it came right off a merry-go-round. And for divers, you can dive the famous “Cane Bay Wall” about 300 yards offshore, where it suddenly drops to 13,000 feet!!
It makes for an easy and enjoyable beach day. Lots to do, from playing volleyball, swimming, or taking it easy by renting beach chairs and diving into a good book. And it’s nice for kids with very gentle waves and the water is only waist-deep 30 yards from shore.
There is also horseback riding available from “The Cane Bay Cowboy” Stephen O’Dea where you can get a true a “bucket-list” experience. There is also stand up paddle board activity
Cane Bay Beach St Croix can get busy on the weekends. Restaurants often have special offers and live entertainment. There are also usually families having birthday parties or BBQing on the beach. The beach is very popular on Sundays and the Spratnet Beach Bar has pig roasts and local bands for a real island feel & experience. There is also an annual “Mardi Croix parade” and celebration which takes place here, a favorite St. Croix tradition which is similar to Mardi Gras. Enjoy!

A casual open air beach bar that serves drinks, food and ice cream. This is a very nice bar and grill that is located right off off the beach and run by a hardworking and friendly family.
It overlooks the water. When you envision a beach bar, you come up with something like this. It is a small tike style beach bar that has a limited menu that includes wraps, burgers, sandwiches and appetizers. They also also some of the popular tropical drinks. The owner, Calvin, was sitting at the bar while I was there. He was the friendliest person that you would ever meet.
You can either sit at the bar or you can get your food/drink and sit at one of the colorful picnic tables on the beach, next to the bar. They have their own restroom that they can give you the key to and have a band come in on weekends to jam out. They host Sunday Reggae Brunch there and other special events. View menu
A Cane Bay classic. Outdoor bar and beach reastaurant serving burgers, calzones, pizzas and other fare. Has tables, picnic tables, and bar seating areas.
If you’re looking to hang out in the North Shore this is the place to come and enjoy the views of the Caribbean Sea! Come say hello to two special ladies Lisa & Diane and the coolest bartender on the island Ben! If you happen to drop in on Tuesday before 6pm you’ll get to enjoy a great bingo night that are high stakes and if you miss it, they do it again on the last Saturday of the month. Just to note they are closed on Friday’s but you can go to The Landing to have a great night and meet all the friendly locals.

Sunny Shore Up food truck
Sunny Shore Up food truck is a great place for a quick bite when you’re at Cane Bay Beach. It’s a local-run, laid back, and fairly-priced food truck serving coffee, cold drinks, burritos, sandwiches, and other light fare. A nice “go-to” breakfast place if you’re spending the day at the beach.
Works on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday, so plan your visit to not be disappointed that it’s closed. Some say it has the best breakfast sandwiches on the island, while other like its great coffee, latte and cappuccinos (and they’ll add your favorite liquor upon request). And the gorgeous ocean views come for free 😎
It’s a good breakfast option if you’re diving The Wall, with Sweet Bottom dive shop nearby. Guest reviews recommend the breakfast burritos, egg sandwiches, and smoothies. It’s also a good option if you’re staying at The Landing Resort because the restaurant there is not open Tuesdays and only has brunch on Sundays.
