Sugar Bay House St. Croix is a beautiful vacation home with a main house which accommodates sleeps 8 people. You can also add an apartment downstairs which sleeps an additional 8. The apartment is equipped with a coffee pot, mini fridge, microwave, two bedrooms (both air conditioned) Bedroom 1 has 3 bunk beds, Bedroom 2 has a queen bed – each with TV (Dish). There is also a washer & dryer.
There is an airy gazebo is that’s great for relaxed outdoor dining, and offers a grill and music system.
A pool area leads into a magnificent Danish yellow great room and a dining area offering large windows and view of the Caribbean sea. Automatic shutters darken the room if you decide to watch TV or a movie, and we have a full entertainment center complete with DVD and sat TV.
There is a large white kitchen fully stocked with all necessary appliances.
All bedrooms are pool-facing through individual French doors and are decorated in tropical style with tasteful classic West Indian-style furnishings. All four have private baths and AC, but the regular sea breezes often make AC unnecessary.
Running the length of the pool are three bedrooms. Two have twin beds that can be converted to kings, the first in spun-sugar pink with a shower/tub bath and the second in powder blue with Wedgewood accents. The third bedroom has a king poster bed with mango colors and palm themes.
At the end of the pool you’ll find the fourth bedroom, with its light lime-colored walls, and a queen poster bed with a canopy. This is a very spacious suite and comes equipped with a fridge and wet bar.
Sugar Bay House is perfectly located on St. Croix’s north shore and it’s a short drive to Christiansted and Frederiksted for shopping, sightseeing, and fine dining. We’re also very near Cane Bay beach, known for its great scuba diving, snorkeling, and tasty beachfront restaurants.

The house is beautiful and looks just like the photos. If you’re considering staying here, do it! You won’t regret it. There were minor issues and the house needs a little bit of TLC, but the host was so communicative and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!
