Paradise Found St. Croix villa is a 3 BR / 4.5 bath villa and a 2 BR / 1.5 bath pool house located on the desirable east end of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. A master bedroom features a king bed, another bedroom has 2 twin beds, and a 3rd BR features a queen bed. All bedrooms in the main house offer en-suite baths, ceiling fans, and split A/Cs. The large living room is tastefully appointed and features incredible seaviews. Next to the living room is a large dining area and an open kitchen which also has great seaviews.
The guest house has an upper bedroom with a king bed, full bath, air conditioning, ceiling fan & french doors that open to its own balcony with a great sea view. A lower bedroom has a queen bed, french doors which open into the deck, A/C, a ceiling fan, a small galley style kitchen and a private deck.
The villa is located directly on its own private beach. Water shoes are recommended and the sea bottom can vary from smooth to crunchy. There’s also a drop off in the water depending on the tide and current.

Yes, Paridise! 4 Star Property 5 Star Experience
Paradise Found is just that! It sits on the beautiful shore of the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean. The view of Buck Island gives a perfect balance of land and sea. 9 of us stayed comfortably – 3 in the Pool House and 6 in the main house. It is roomy and allows for everyone to have enough space. The common area provides views of the water from every angle. And while the setting, view and atmosphere are top notch, there are a few things that need some attention. The decking/built in seating surrounding the house is in need of repair. The paint is peeling/worn out and splinters and tripping could be a hazard. The “beach” area requires shoes (not big deal), but accessing the water is arduous (shallow, rough bottom and uneven. It is what it is, but it is best to know this ahead of time). The pool needs maintenance. It wasn’t that clean, and there was much debris/sand in the pool. The tile needs a good scrubbing. The home, plumbing, air conditioning, etc need some work. Even so, the house was clean and well furnished. A major complaint is road access. The in/out gate to the road is a hazard. The wall to the property sits about 3 ft from the road. The visibility is blocked by landscaping. You must pull into the road to get visibility. It is a straight section of the road, so cars are coming at full speed. We highly recommend cutting down all landscaping and putting up mirrors. We had 1 person step in the road to direct and ensure safety. As to the ocean, that is a natural environment and the bottom changes based on the tide and no one has control over that. As to the pool, it was cleaned and ready for arrival so some sand might have gotten into it during your stay and the pool will be checked again to see if it needs any special cleaning per your note. As to pulling out of the driveway, the road is not heavily traveled and if you pull out slowly you can check any cars coming but you found your own method to have someone guide you out. No one on the road has mirrors but it’s something that will be looked into as the owners want all guests to enjoy their stay for every reason.

AMAZING
We had an absolutely amazing stay. Leading up to the trip, we had many questions answered very promptly. The views are stunning, the accommodations are very comfortable, and we wanted for nothing. Having the slight separation between the two buildings was ideal for multiple families. we enjoyed morning coffee looking at the sea. Misleading Information
While some in our party spent more time away from the house, most were interested in enjoying the outdoor spaces, namely pool and beach. I had specifically asked about the beach, whether we could swim, walk, snorkel and was told that, yes, with water shoes, the surf there was perfect for all those activities. And that was not true at all. Swimming was impossible, even wading in the water could have resulted in a broken ankle due to weedy patches and sudden drop-offs under the water. The pool, nice enough, was only good for wading and sunning, not swimming. The deck off the living area had a table that fell apart on one end and steps to and from the pool and beach house were precarious. Our son fell walking off the side deck and almost did break his ankle. All the loveliness of the inside was wasted on people who really only wanted to enjoy the outside sun, water and relaxation. I will be careful to ask more pointed questions the next time I rent a beach house. Stayed 7 nights in Mar 2023

It was mentioned to wear water shoes as the ocean is a natural environment and can have changes with the tide, which can change the drop off level from the sand bar and what’s on the bottom if the tide brings in patches of seaweed. There are pictures of the pool to view the size and some people do a couple of laps while others just enjoy floating and relaxing in it. The property manager was on call for any issues you had if something was not working and nothing was reported at the time…he would have come and taken care of the table and leveling the cement walking steps since they sometimes do shift over time as we do want all guests to have a wonderful stay as noted by guests in the previous reviews.

Lovely Christmas holiday at the villa

Easy Breezy
